×îÐÂÂ鶹ÊÓƵ’s Driver Vehicle Inspection Reporting Service (DVIR) links the Global Intermodal Equipment Registry (GIER), ×îÐÂÂ鶹ÊÓƵ’s Intermodal Driver Database (IDD) and Uniform Intermodal Interchange and Facilities Access Agreement (UIIA) database to provide efficient access to data needed for electronic DVIR reporting required under Section 396.11-12, Part 390 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety.
Benefits of the DVIR Service
- Assists motor carriers, intermodal equipment providers, facility operators and maintenance & repair vendors with regulatory compliance and identification of damaged equipment.
- Creates and delivers the DVIR to the appropriate intermodal equipment provider based upon receipt of gate and roadability compliance information.
- Communicates with ×îÐÂÂ鶹ÊÓƵ's databases (IDD, GIER & UIIA) to electronically generate the DVIR via EDI, XML, API or web portal.
