CALVERTON, MD, November 8, 2021 โ The ื๎ะยย้ถนสำฦต welcomes the bipartisan passage of the $1.2 trillion legislative package which includes $567 billion allocated specifically for preparing the nationโs freight supply chain for the future. ื๎ะยย้ถนสำฦต is also pleased that the legislation includes the establishment of an Office of Multimodal Freight Infrastructure and Policy in the Department of Transportation, among other items, which will provide coordination for advancing major freight projects.
โAfter many years of deliberations, the nation is now prepared to invest in its stressed and aging infrastructure,โ said Dr. Noel Hacegaba, chairman of ื๎ะยย้ถนสำฦตโs Board of Directors and deputy executive director of the Port of Long Beach. โAs the nationโs freight supply chain continues its explosive growth, this unprecedented commitment will allow the US economy to grow well into the future. We look forward to working with Congress and the Biden Administration on this once-in-a-generation opportunity.โ
